Lois: It's funny, I never thought she'd fall for the farm boy type. Martha: Trust me, that can happen to the best of us. Lois: Not me. Give me a nerd with glasses any day of the week. Martha: Clark has many sides. Lois: Yeah, I've seen several of them already.

Do you know why I love summer? Because it’s the only time of the year when I can do all those things I couldn’t do the previous months, inclusive finishing the gallery. Between yesterday and today I made the screencaps of the episodes 604, 607 and 610 and I’ll add them all between today and tomorrow.
About the season 4, don’t worry, I haven’t forgot and I didn’t decide to delete it without a reason.
I mean to add again all the screencaps in HD(1280×720px) so it will take a little while. Meantime enjoy these last updates, in HD too.
This season on the CW’s Smallville, Clark will go to work at the “Daily Planet,” where he’ll bump desks with Lois Lane. The predestined set-up understandably has some fans already lobbying for a lip-lock.
Well, there’s one coming. Read the rest of this entry »
Smallville fans, rejoice! Following the show’s Comic-Con panel, executive producers told TVGuide.com’s own Erin Fox that Lois and Clark’s relationship is going to take a new direction this season. Read the rest of this entry »
Who would have thought way back in 2001 when Al Gough and Miles Millar launched Smallville, their ambitious, slightly revisionist television series revolving around the teenage years of Clark Kent, that it would still be on the air eight years later? Originally Gough and Millar only hoped to eke out five seasons of the future Man of Steel’s small town history, all the while gently tip-toeing around DC Comic’s and WB’s strict rules and regulations about how much they could tinker with the mythology. Their intention was to flesh out Clark’s formative years in Kansas while setting up the epic rivalry with Lex Luthor that would eventually springboard both characters into their future roles as Superman and arch enemy, respectively.
Fast-forward to the present and a lot has now changed. First off that original story arc has expanded by 44 hours and counting. Smallville’s become the Energizer bunny of genre TV proving the Superman mythology might even be more powerful on the small screen (considering the lackluster acceptance of Singer’s big screen Superman Returns). Its longevity has even pushed DC to lighten up on its universe and let the show play with its rich cast of ‘verse comic book heroes, villains and more. Read the rest of this entry »

UK, July 15, 2008 - Director Kevin Munroe has been speaking about his Dylan Dog adaptation, explaining that the film will combine comedy and horror and feature “lots of action and very little CGI.”
The film, which will be called Dead of Night in the US and Dylan Dog elsewhere, is an adaptation of the Italian horror comic about a detective who investigates the paranormal.
Speaking to Screen Daily, the TMNT helmer said “I’m fascinated by these stories. They are populated by classic characters you see in the likes of Dirty Harry and Die Hard. And like in those movies, you understand the worst monsters of them all are human beings.
“For this reason I’m going to show Dylan Dog’s world as realistically as possible. The audience must believe zombies can exist in New York, that vampires roam free even if they can’t be seen, just like in Men In Black.”
Joshua Oppenheimer and Thomas Dean Donnelly, who wrote Sahara and the forthcoming Conan the Barbarian, have penned the script, which revolves around Dylan’s efforts to help a woman whose father has been murdered by a mysterious creature.
Superman himself, Brandon Routh, will play the lead role, while Scott Rosenberg is producing through Platinum Studios together with Ashok Amritraj’s Hyde Park Entertainment.
Comic writer Mark Millar, currently making a few bob off the back of the movie adaptation of Wanted, has reportedly said some rather intersting stuff about a future Superman movie.
“Since I was a kid I’ve always wanted to reinvent Superman for the 21st century,” Millar told Scottish paper The Daily Record. “I’ve been planning this my entire life. I’ve got my director and producer set up, and it’ll be 2011. This is how far ahead you have to think.”
He continued, “The Superman brand is toxic after that last movie lost [a good chunk of change], but in 2011 we’re hoping to restart it. Sadly I can’t say who the director is, but we may make it official by Christmas.”
Hmmm… We’re not sure how this fits in with previous announcements that Bryan Singer is already onboard as director, or if it will be called Man of Steel, but it’s interesting stuff nonetheless.
